On March 25 (KST), J-Hope made a surprise appearance on the official SNS of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. In the video shared by the Louvre Museum, J-Hope greets fans warmly, briefly introduces his new song “MONA LISA” and adds, “She’s an inspiration.”

As J-Hope sings a snippet of “MONA LISA”, the scene transitions to the famous painting Mona Lisa (Gioconda, Monna Lisa) displayed at the museum. The unexpected encounter between two “world-class” icons ignited an explosive reaction from global fans.

According to J-Hope’s agency BigHit Music, the collaboration began with a love call from the Louvre Museum. On March 18, the museum commented “You mean our Mona Lisa?” on BTS’s official SNS post featuring the “MONA LISA” concept photo. They then followed both J-Hope and BTS accounts, sparking major buzz. The museum later formally proposed a video shoot, leading to the creation of this content.

The Louvre Museum, alongside the British Museum and the Vatican Museum, is considered one of the world’s top three museums. Located in the heart of Paris, it is the largest art museum in the world and the most visited.
